Here's some bits & pieces of my 2 weeks of holiday...
Spent the 1st week staying at home reading books...I've finished reading 5 books in a week including The Fault in Our Stars which is totally mind blowing, The Selection Series & the 1st book of The Hunger Games Trilogy...Can't wait to read the rest...
After 1 week of immersing myself in a pool of words, its time for some fun!!!
The 2nd week, 21/5/14, Wednesday
Went to KL with family to help AhDi move in to his hostel as the next day was gonna be his 1st day in college...
Mommy and gonggong left in the evening while i stayed few more days to get my little holiday trip started...
Taught AhDi how to take ktm, lrt, monorail and stuff... Meetup with fluffy, had dinner together then sent AhDi back to his hostel...
Couldn't help but feeling a little sentimental in fluffy's carcar on the way back to his place...
"I think i'm gonna start crying..."
"Why? Why cry?"
"The last time i remember AhDi was still a little kid and we used to fight so much at home, now he is already a grownup...We no longer live under same roof & see each other everyday... Who is going to help me to fix the pc problem or the printer problem or the internet problem? And he is so not independent, how is he going to cope the life here? " Sobbed a little... :$
"Aiyorr...he needs to learn to live on his own and now's the time... He'll adapt like how you did... Its just 2 hours drive, you can always come back to KL with me & i'll bring you to him..." him saying with evil grin...
"You wish... I thought i won't feel a thing because sometimes he can be really annoying that i wanna get him out of my sight...Now i'm so regretted for even thinking about it..." Sobbed even harder...
"Ok larr...Don't cry already...We back home and watch "Rhythm Of The Rain" then bring you mummum for supper, ok ? " he tried to soothe me while caressing my head softly...
Simply nodded & the tears finally seemed to stop when we reached his home...
Cozily lying on the couch watching the movie we've been wanting to watch, Rhythm Of The Rain, for the night... It feels really comfortable doing nothing just spend the night with fluffy at home...Nothing can ever replace this kind of happiness...
The film was nice, the ending was unpredictable & kinda sad...What moved me the most was the soundtrack which has the same name with the film, Rhythm of The Rain...Haha, I always have a thing for movie's soundtrack.... :$
22/5/14, Thursday
Went to KLCC for the aquarium... Its a very short tour & i found it a little disappointing as i expected penguins and dolphins,haha... Pictures are all in fluffly's camera & its currently at his home in KL...Oppss, no picture for the aquarium... :(
Dropped by Kinokuniya afterwards... Bought some books then swung by Acme Bar & Coffee for tea time...
Their mac & cheese tasted really nice, its extremely cheesy!!! Their famous signature sizzling brownie was however unsatisfying... The brownie was served in a hot plate with ice cream on top where the waiter showered it with chocolate sauce...The dessert was so intelligently invented it heightened your sensation with all the sizzles and steams coming out from the hot pan... The only thing was that there's a burnt taste in it... Not sure if its overheated or that's how it is... Bytheway, i spotted a super good looking European waiter there,haha...
All the pictures of the day are in fluffy's camera...No picture of sizzling brownie to you all... :')
Dinner with his dad & the day just ended like that...
23/5/14, Friday
One of the most favorable moment of mine : wake up with the person you love the most next to you or even better, in his embrace...
Took me a lot of effort to drag him out of bed for breakfast... I was hoping we could have our breakfast before 10am yet we ended up having our 1st meal at my favorite place, Levain at almost 12pm...Who to blame? FLUFFY !!!!! ><
For me, Lavein serves the best pastry & it has the best decor...I love everything inside, both the food and the environment... My favorite pastry goes to chocolate cornet & their berries danish, both have this super smooth chocolate cream filling it melts the moment it touches your tongue... Every bite was heavenly, awww!!!!
After pleasantly eating our yummy food savoring every bite, departed to our destination of the day, French Village aka Colmar Tropicale...
Its located in Bukit Tinggi, Pahang... Took us about 1 hour to get there....
Before driving up to the French town village, we dropped by at the animal park where you can get a load of deer, rabbits, guinea pigs & donkeys... I got really excited as the deer and rabbits were not being fenced in... I could literally touch the deer & their beautiful horns!!!
Hello deer deer!!!!!!!!!!! & i touched them!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fluffy & his younger brother, Ethan became my personal photographers as they didn't have the guts to have any physical contact with the animals,haha...
Bunny!!!!!!! This white one was so puffy & fluffy!!!!!!!!! I wanna hold it so badly i literally chased after it while it attempted to hoop away from me,haha....
Haha...Forced Ethan to hold the rabbit & thats all he could do... Look at the rabbit, its eating leaf, so cute!!!!!
Forced fluffy to feed the deer,haha... The Lee's brothers were too shy and afraid of the little creatures & the camera, hence some coercion was necessary,haha... :$
Failed dear dear not dare to get too close with the donkey.... :/
Successful me.... :D
Playing see saw like little kids... I was screaming :" Stop!!! Fluffy stop!!! Why are you so fat!!! My hips are not touching the seat!!!! " all the way... There's an auntie watching us smiling so happily like we're a comedy couple... :$
Right then, we made our way to the Japanese Village which is at the top of the Berjaya hill...We had to hike up a very very very steep pathway leading to the village...The Japanese Village is a series of Japan-theme attractions such as Japanese tea house, spa, botanical garden and also a japanese restaurant...
Konichiwa.... :D
Rented the Kimono for photographing & it costed rm20 per person... All indoor pictures were taken by a friendly old lady who rented the Kimono to us, also we could go outdoor & take pictures by ourselves but not for long as she needed those costumes back for the other tourists...
Auntie's skill of photographing ain't no kidding,haha...She even taught me how to pose... :o
Soaking in the greenery....
The last stop : The French town...
The entrance...
There's a stairs beside the castle drawbridge, walked down and spotted 4 swans swimming gracefully along the moat...
The white swans...1st time being so close with them & they're undeniably pretty, especially their flawless feather...Except that they sound really horrible when they squeak plus their legs are creepy,haha... Guess noone is perfect... :$
The black swans...
Inside the french town there's a pedestrian street with multi-colored buildings line up on both sides which are the hotel reception, restaurants, bakery shops, souvenir shops, gaming center, etc...
The scenery was beautiful & its definitely a good choice for getaway & relaxation...
Wishing well on the street... Spot the watchtower behind....
Trying to do a romantic kissing pose in front of the water fountain...1st shot : Failed...
2nd shot : failed miserably...Haha, our expressions are so funny... :$
3rd shot : Finally.... :)
Had dinner in one of the restaurant before heading back...The food tasted surprisingly awful & its so expensive... :(
Headed home in the late evening & spent the night at fluffy's cousin house...As much as it was a little odd with his extended family members, its nice getting to know them though... He has a lovely family, i got so much fun just listening & seeing how his aunts crack some jokes with each other...
24/5/14, Saturday
Missed the food in SS15 so so so much & this day we decided to go there to reminisce the yummy pork noodle... Its one of the must try in SS15 & its the best pork noodle i've ever had...It used to be my taylors' friends & my favorite hangout spot when we had hours of break back in college because we had to wait at least 30mins to get our food,haha...
Its popularity never seemed to fade as i went back there with fluffy after 2 years, the queue got so long we had to wait 1 hour for our noodles...See how famous it is... :o
Yum yum!!!!!!!!!!!
Wee....drinking my favorite Gongcha Taro milk tea while going to Perdana Botanical Garden...
Love this picture!!!
Wanted to go visit bird park but we were already exhausted from all the walking in the extremely huge botanical garden, plus the weather was so warm that the scorching sun was killing us...Thus we gave up & hooped into carcar as fast as we could,haha... :$
Around 5pm, had a short meetup with LayLay in pyramid...Oh my god!!! He looked even slimmer than the last time i saw him...How in the world are you getting slimmer and slimmer GOHLAYJIAN???!!! I miss the old you when you still had the huge tummy which i used to poke so much... :(
Chilled at Caffe Bene...Tried their bingsu which people have been raving about... Haha, again...it tasted normal...On the contrary, their caramel & banana waffle was delicious...
There's always a lot of noise & laughter with LayLay... Feel grateful to have him as my true buddy even though he always nags me to meetup with him,haha...
After saying goodbye to LayLay, had another catch up session with Thengjiejie... We had dinner together & talked non-stop, filled in each other with our lives & stories... Am grateful that she lives a happy life & everything is fine with her... :)
Look at this fluffy...Driving & eating at the same time.... FAT!!!!!!!!!!
Look at this fluffy...Driving & eating at the same time.... FAT!!!!!!!!!!
At 11pm, Fluffy went for football while i slept comfortably at home... 2 something am i woke up & accompanied him to mamak stall for the champion league....
Time passed so fast, fluffy & i both came back to Kampar the next day which was Sunday, prepared to start our new semester in uni...Goodbye my holiday... :(
