♥~Welcome To The Land Of Thailand~♥

Warning: it's going to be a post with tons of pictures...

Ok...The main purpose of this trip was actually to visit our relatives...

We took the train at 21/8 12am...

DAY 1   21/8   Tuesday

Forgot what time did we reach the Hat Yai train station...I think it was 11 something...

Thailand is 1 hour ahead of Malaysia...

& i found out my phone changed the time zone automatically,i didn't know it could work like that,NICE...

We all got really excited when we saw 3 shu gong, gonggong's brother, was already there, waiting for us

He brought us to the hotel we were going to stay for the next 2 days, which was Novotel Centara Hotel(This property used to be under Novotel management but now is under Centara Group...)

Waiting to check in...We booked 2 rooms,1 for mummy,bb & me,1 for AhDi & gonggong...

This hotel is right in the city centre, lots of shopping centre around & close by to many eatery stalls...

Found it very convenient for us to shop...

After settling everything,Mummy,AhDi & gonggong were following 3 shu gong to visit some relatives while i was dead sleeping in the hotel bed...

Went for a walk after dinner...You can find many food vendors, food stalls & clothes stalls at the roadside...

The prawns & the chicken drumsticks they sold were huge!!!

Sawadika!!! It's the Mcdonald at Lee Garden Plaza, which is located opposite of Centara hotel...

DAY 2    22/8   Wednesday

Had our breakfast at the hotel restaurant...

Their breakfast buffet was excellent...Best breakfast buffet ever...

They offered a wide range of food option, cuisine from various cultures & also live cooking...Love it!!!!!

It's time to explore the place after filling up our stomach!!!

3 shu gong rented a van for us & it was spacious inside...

Hey guys...apparently i wasn't ready yet =_=

Opps...i forgot to mention that my aunty & uncle were going with us too :S

The cute little fellow sitting beside me was my cousin,Evelyn...

The first tourist spot we visited: Bodhisattva Kuan Im...

Huge Kuan Im statue...

The dragon mouth entrance...I was sitting on its tongue =_=

The old lady beside mummy was my 3 shu po & 3 shu gong was holding the camera...

There was a golden buddha statue at the top of the mountain...

You have to climb real high & walk real long to reach it...

It took us at least,is AT LEAST 10 flights of stairs, exhausted enough!!!!!

We were almost there!!!
Little Evelyn was more energetic than me

The view up there was totally worth the climbing...Spot the Kuan Im statue i just took picture of...

We made it!!!! WooHoo!!!!

Went to the Hat Yai Ice Dome next...

It was -15 degree celcius inside...Way more chillier than the one in I-city...

The cold wind was piercing my face till i couldn't feel my nose anymore...

Nice ice sculpture...

Next stop : Songkhla...

Do i look as elegant as this mermaid??? haha...kidding alright :P

I was too lazy to describe what's so special about this mermaid...

So...............

Here you go =D

We made our way to watch the wild monkeys afterward...

The monkeys were ready to jump into the water from that jumping tower...

I didn't know that monkey can swim :S And they were not only swimming, they were actually diving!!!!

My favourite picture of the trip!!!!

I was all so excited that i touched its hand !!!!!

The old guy in dark turquoise was my 3 shu gong ^^

Lunch time!!! It's a restaurant on the lake...

In Thailand,Tomyam is a must-try!!!

We had tomyam soup for 2 days & i have to say it tasted really really good!!!!

I don't quite know how to describe the food...All that i know is good or bad =_=

I love everything spicy & i just couldn't get enough of it!!!!

On the "tu tu"...Little Evelyn likes me,she wanted to hold my hand & stick by my side all the time ^^

Don't know why i'm always favoured by kids...

& I like her too!!!! She is a super talkative little girl...

She's like the younger version of Winqi Chai =_= I'm sure you guys can get along very well =_=

Dinner with relatives...

Bb spotted me eating non-stop,hehe...

Suckling pig & bread always come together & their bread is DELICIOUS for god know what reason!!!

Couldn't stop eating!!! My aunt & mummy stole some more from the next table for me :P

At night,we all gathered in one room for supper, longan, bird nest, mango rice,etc...

Played snake & ladder with little Evelyn too...

Mummy & i ordered the massage service afterward as our whole bodies were sore from the walking & standing...

It was the 1st time me getting a massage & my massage therapist had really great strength :S

It didn't feel like she was massaging my limbs,it felt more like my bones she was massaging...PAIN :'(

It didn't hurt much when it came to my back...Instead,it felt comfortable...
& i could hear my bones making sounds all the time...RELAXING

DAY 3   23/8   Thursday

It was the last day of our stay...

Went to their famous pasar for awhile & then checked out...

Hadn't had the chance to visit their floating market as it's only open during weekend...

All we did on that day was EAT,EAT & EAT...

Lunch time....In Hat Yai,they like to use metal cup instead of glass or plastic cup...

Hence, the ice cubes were always there no matter how long it took you to finish your food...

3 shu gong recommended us this restaurant called Thanadsri Hatyai...

The restaurant is famous for their homemade beef ball...

We went there an hour later after lunch...

Had a bowl of rice vermicelli soup & it was surprisingly appetizing!!!

Couldn't resist the yummy temptation & ordered another bowl of beef balls!!!

Thumbs up x1000000.....

Their beef balls look like fish ball...

Byebye Hat Yai....

3 shu po even brought us their famous black glutinous rice for us to bring home...

It was really nice of her =)

Dear 3 shu gong & 3 shu po...They were so hospitable over the past few days...

Always that friendly, nice, easygoing & thoughtful...Couldn't thank them enough...

Brought a lot of mummum back home,haha...ready to get fat, chai yee voon =D

p/s: ehh...darlings...come claim your souvenirs :P

Love,
